Why Unbox^d?

The Australian landscape, history and cultural significance has had a transformative affect on me. It has provided the backdrop for countless memories and is the place I go when I need to call time out on a busy work life.

As a student and later a young professional, i had limited budget or space to buy and store endless amounts of outdoor equipment. I hated the feeling of buying the wrong gear more gear only to use it once, knowing the impact of consumerism had on the environment as well as my bank balance! I knew i wanted to adventure more, share experiences with others and feel safe. Surely there was a better way?

That’s why I created Unbox^d - to enable endless outdoor adventures that are affordable and effortless.
